about me
My name is George. I’ve always been interested in storytelling and how stories can spark imagination, transport us into other worlds and play havoc with our emotions. It’s a fascination that has grown into a passion for the art of filmmaking and, in particular, how writing and visual execution can influence the experience of a story.
In my journey towards this ambition, I am always seeking out opportunities to learn and build experience both independently and in collaborative settings. I have produced multiple narrative short films, music videos, advertising campaigns and branded content, all of which have offered me insight into the creative industries and allowed me to develop my storytelling ability.
I am a BFI Film Academy Alumni, having worked as a Director of Photography and Editor in a crew of other like-minded young people. I have been enrolled in online writing courses and have improved upon my technical camera ability and post-production skills through a range of projects spanning the creative sector that I have undertaken both outside of and during my studies; developing familiarity with software such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects.
